The world as I see it — by R C Norman

Dublin Bay

Arrived in Dublin this morning and after a nap to adjust from jet lag, I walked to Dublin Bay to photograph the birds and other wildlife at the Irishtown Nature Reserve. While walking along the shoreline path, I snapped this photo with my iPhone looking across the bay toward the city. Had my Nikon and will post other pics, including a sea lion that broke water with a fish in his mouth. Uploading this post from my iPhone while enjoying a pint of Guinness at a local pub.

  1. Hey Rick, I was in Dublin for a business trip and had only a half day to get out of the hotel and see some sights. Being a wildlife guy, I chose to head to the water instead of into the city. If I had more time, I would have turned my lens on some city sights. Maybe next time. Thanks for stopping by. — Rob

    • Hope you had a great time, even if it was for work. Some of my fondest memories of foreign travel are those quick business trips with a little bit of time to see something.

  2. Now you’re living the life. What are you doing in Dublin? Is this a work trip?
