Blue Angels Soar at Andrews AFB Air Show

Jenny and I took the boys and spent the day at the Joint Forces Open House and Air Show at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Saturday, May 19.  It was a beautiful, clear day, and despite our sunburn, we had a great time.  I took lots of photos and created a gallery page for some of the better ones.   — Rob

Thanks for the memories. I remember when I first went in, I was working on F4-D’s and the Fighting First was flying F-15 Eagles. Things have certainly come a long way! These are fantastic images!

    • Mike, glad I could bring back some fond memories with my images. Sounds like you’ve had some very personal experiences with aviation. The Air Show completely fascinated me. — Rob

Rob. I am an Air Force veteran and I was around to see some of the “old dogs” retired from service. Air shows still fascinate me even today and your images are outstanding!

  2. Thanks for the comment. My 14 year old son and his 12 year old friend loved it. So did I.
